We are currently looking for a Simulation Engineer (m/f/d) Finite Element Method.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:
- Performing static and dynamic structural analyses using FEM
- Creating and developing FE models and material models for complex assemblies
- Conducting HCF and TMF analyses in modern drive technology
- Preparing reports and presentations to support technical decisions
- Overseeing material testing and supporting the development of simulation methods
- Collaborating with design, project management, and testing teams

The project is expected to begin on-site in Cologne, but as it progresses, it can be completed remotely, with monthly on-site meetings.

Anforderungen:

must-have:
-Excellent knowledge of mechanical simulation (FEM)
-In-depth knowledge of powertrain technology (e.g., engines, transmissions, crankshaft systems)
-Experience with FEM tools such as Abaqus, Hypermesh/Simlab, ANSA, and FEMFAT
-Experience in modeling, analyzing, and optimizing complex systems
