For our client, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior C++ Engineer (m/f/d) to support the further development and modernization of a complex desktop application in a technically demanding environment. The focus of this project is on enhancing application performance, modernizing legacy components and ensuring a stable, scalable software architecture.

Your main responsibilities include:
- Development and maintenance of high-performance C++ desktop application components
- Analysis and optimization of application performance, runtime behavior and scalability
- Design and implementation of multithreaded and concurrent software components
- Modernization and migration of legacy technologies to modern C++ and current .NET environments
- Integration and maintenance of desktop application frameworks and third-party components
- Close collaboration with software architects, QA engineers and product management to deliver high-quality solutions
- Support the use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code) for code analysis, refactoring and software modernization
